3. Nature of Services
Aurem Path provides financial education services. These services are educational in nature and do not constitute licensed financial advice, investment advice, or financial planning services as defined under Singapore's Financial Advisers Act (Cap. 110). Participants should seek advice from licensed financial advisers for specific investment or insurance decisions.
Our programs are designed to help participants understand financial concepts, develop analytical frameworks, and engage more confidently with their own financial situations. We do not manage funds, recommend specific financial products, or receive commission from any financial product provider.
4. Enrolment and Payment
- Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full program payment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Program fees are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of all materials and components described in the program specification.
- Payment methods accepted include bank transfer and other methods communicated at the time of booking.
- All fees are non-transferable to another participant without prior written consent from Aurem Path.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations made more than 7 calendar days before a program's scheduled start date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the start date are not eligible for a cash refund. Aurem Path will work with the participant to arrange a deferral to a future cohort of the same program at no additional charge.
- No refund or deferral is available for cancellations made after a program has commenced, except in cases of documented medical emergency or exceptional circumstances at Aurem Path's discretion.
- Aurem Path reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a program due to insufficient enrolment or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date.
6. Participant Responsibilities
Participants agree to:
- Attend sessions punctually and engage respectfully with facilitators and other participants.
- Not share, reproduce, or distribute program materials without written permission from Aurem Path.
- Use program content solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
- Maintain the confidentiality of financial information shared by other participants during group sessions.
7. Intellectual Property
All program materials, worksheets, documents, frameworks, and website content are the intellectual property of Aurem Path. Participants receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use program materials for their own personal purposes. Reproduction, republication, or commercial use without written consent is prohibited.
8. Disclaimers
Programs are provided for educational purposes. While we endeavour to ensure content is accurate and up to date with Singapore's financial environment, Aurem Path makes no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of any information provided. Financial circumstances vary; educational content should not be applied without considering your individual situation.
Aurem Path is not liable for any financial decisions made by participants based on program content. Participants are responsible for their own financial decisions and are encouraged to seek licensed professional advice where appropriate.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Aurem Path's total liability to any participant arising from or in connection with these Terms, the website, or any program shall not exceed the fees paid by that participant for the relevant program. We exclude all liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss.
10. Confidentiality
Aurem Path treats all personal financial information shared by participants as strictly confidential. This information will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or with the participant's explicit written consent. Our full data handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
